Little Lion Reading Program Level 1

Little Lion Reading Program Level 1 is intended for students who are new to reading. It is possible for a student to begin the program with no knowledge of letters or sounds and end the program reading. The program consists of a workbook, storybook, and board game. These three cohesive components were designed to create a good learning experience for each user. This reading program is aligned with national and state standards. It is a research based program with a built-in teaching guide. The program is easy to use and very effective.

Outside of students learning vocabulary, handwriting, and the ability to distinguish between letters and sounds– the students will be taught comprehension and critical thinking skills. The ideal user can possess none or very little knowledge of letters and sounds before beginning the program, and finish the program with a sturdy foundation and the ability to read.
